Terms
Terms of service
Plain-language terms for ordering a digital pet portrait from FramePet. They form the contract between you and us when you place an order.
Last updated 11 September 2026.
1. Who we are
FramePet is operated by SOLO VENTURES S.R.L., VAT RO53164535, Romania. You can reach us at [email protected]. Company details are on the Impressum page.
2. What you are buying
A FramePet order is a one-time purchase of digital files. You upload a photo of your pet, choose one or more art styles and a frame size, and we generate portraits of that pet in those styles using artificial intelligence. You receive:
- the number of styles and variations shown for the tier you chose, at the resolution listed on the pricing page;
- each portrait cropped to the aspect ratio of the frame size you selected, so it is ready to print;
- download links on the results page and by email, valid for 7 days from delivery.
We do not print, frame or ship anything. Printing is up to you, at home, at a photo shop or through an online print service.
3. Placing an order
Prices are shown in euro and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken by our payment provider, Stripe, at checkout. We never see or store your card details. The contract is concluded when your payment is confirmed; you will then see a confirmation page and receive an email.
You must be at least 18 years old to order. No account is created; your order is identified by the email address you enter and a unique order link.
4. Delivery
Generation starts immediately after payment and usually takes a few minutes. When your portraits are ready, the results page updates and we email you the download links. Links stop working 7 days after delivery, and the files are then deleted from our servers, so please download your portraits within that time. We cannot restore files after they are deleted.
5. Right of withdrawal
Under EU consumer law you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase. Because a FramePet portrait is digital content that we begin producing straight after payment, we ask for your express consent at checkout that production starts immediately and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal. Ticking that box is a condition of ordering. Section 6 explains the refunds we give regardless.
6. Quality and refunds
Every generated portrait is checked automatically against your photo. If, after several attempts, we cannot produce a portrait that passes that check for one of the styles you ordered, we cancel the order and refund the full amount automatically, without you having to ask. The refund goes back to the original payment method and typically appears within 5 to 10 business days.
AI-generated art is never a pixel-perfect copy of a photo. Small differences in markings, background or expression are normal, and different variations of the same style are meant to look different. We do not refund delivered portraits on grounds of taste. If a delivered file is technically defective, for example corrupt, blank or not the resolution promised for your tier, tell us within 14 days at [email protected] and we will regenerate it or refund it.
7. Your photo and the rules for it
You confirm that:
- you took the photo yourself or have the right to use it;
- the photo shows an animal and no identifiable person;
- the photo contains nothing unlawful, hateful or infringing on anyone’s rights.
Our photo check refuses uploads without an animal before payment. We may cancel and refund an order that breaks these rules, and we may refuse future orders from the same email address.
8. What you can do with your portrait
The portraits we deliver are yours. You may print them, share them, give them away and use them for personal or commercial purposes without attribution. We do not add watermarks to delivered files. We do not use your photo or your portraits in our marketing, and we do not use them to train AI models. We keep no rights in the delivered files beyond what is needed to store and deliver them to you.
9. Liability
We are liable without limit for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where liability cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise, our liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not responsible for the quality of prints made by third parties from our files.
10. Changes and governing law
The terms in force when you order apply to that order. We may update these terms for future orders and will show the date of the last change at the top of this page. These terms are governed by the law of Romania. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence still apply.
